There are 11 short stories in that book, every short story has different moral message, almost all of them tells about animal’s life, so that it is good for children, because children like to listen to the story, they will learn from the story, and they will be fun.
One of the stories is “the good turn”. In this story tells about a boy who always help the others without expecting the revenge for his kindness. But he just tells to someone who has been helped “do the other kindness to someone who needs it!”. So that everyone who has been helped does the other kindness to someone who needs. Because of his good habitual, there are many people do the kindness to another. Finally the kindness back to him. One day he gets some toys from his father. He was confused why his father gave so many toys for him. In fact there is someone who gave it because of his kindness.
There are still many moral messages that is conveyed in this book, even though this book tells about animal’s life, but we can learn from them. As a result whatever we do, there will be the revenge for our activity.
